Just done with a funeral a few days ago.very tired and super sad past few weeks.it was my grandmother who past away.it last for five days at jurong east area.in this funeral,i learn many thing and know more about selfish and sick people.some just take things for granted.
first day-19 nov
- 2pm-3pm,buy food for family members
- 3pm-4.3opm,wait for grandmother body to move into the coffin
- 4.3opm-7pm,burning of joss paper
- 7pm-7.45pm,dinner
- 7.45pm-11pm,entertaining of guest
second day-20 nov
- 7am-7.15am,breakfast
- 7.15am-10am,burning of joss paper
- 10am-1pm,folding of joss paper
- 1pm-2pm,lunch
- 2pm-6pm,continued folding og joss paper
- 6pm-7pm,dinner
- 7pm-11pm,entertaining of guest
- 11pm-moring(7am),overnight at the wake with sis,junhao,wenyong,second aunt and second uncle
third day-21 nov
- 7.30am-5pm,sleeping
- 5pm-5.3opm,bath
- 5.30pm-6.30pm,dinner
- 6.30pm-7.30pm,folding of joss paper
- 7.30pm-11pm,entertaining of guest
- 11pm-1am,frog leg supper with jocelyn,brother and xiao jun
- 1am-5.30am,overnight at wake with brother,yang yang and yifei
- 5.30am-9am,sleeping
fourth day-22 nov
- 9am-11am,breakfast
- 11am-10pm,priest come and we need to do many praying(super super tired,standing the whole day
- 10pm-10.15pm,buring of joss paper and house
- 10.15pm-12.30am,went home to bath
- 12.30am-1.30am,mac supper
- 1.30am-4am,sleeping
fifth day-23 nov
- 4am-5am,overnight at wake with siying,suying,second aunt,yang yang
- 5am-7am,went back sleeping with suying
- 7am-8am,breakfast
- 8am-10.30am,entertaining of guest
- 10.30am-11am,walking behind the casket
- 11am-11.25am,bus to mandai creamation
- 11.25am-11.55am,grandmother was push into to burn(everyone cry and scream,esp my mother)
- 11.55am-12.30pm,bus back to the wake
- 12.30pm-1.30pm,lunch
- 1.30pm-2pm,bus back to mandai to take the ash
- 2pm-5pm,everything done
after all the funeral,i am very tired and pray not to have the experience again.
